The essentials of Ánima.

Can I order a single handmade piece?

Yes, from one piece. Ánima exists so that a single piece receives the same care as a full edition, because every one is made by hand and made once.

Who makes the Ánima pieces?

Specialty artisans with years of practice make them. The Atelier's signature goes on every piece, and the card that reaches you names the craft of the person who made it.

Is every piece one of a kind?

Yes. Made by hand, each piece carries its own character inside the same design, and where it makes sense we number it. When you want an even edition, we tune the run so the pieces read as one family.

How does my brand go onto a handmade piece?

Your brand is painted, carved, woven or engraved with the technique proper to each craft, so it lives inside the material. The glaze, the grain and the thread hold it the same way they hold the piece.

Which crafts does Ánima work in?

Ánima works in clay and talavera, carved wood, weaving and fiber, leather and blown glass. Bring a different craft and we talk it through and find the right hands.

Do you deliver handmade pieces outside Mexico?

Yes. We deliver inside Mexico and abroad. A handmade piece travels in packing calculated for the knocks of the road.
